About Grasski.net

European Grass Ski Manufacturer Since 2000

Grass skiing (also known as grasski or sci d'erba) is an FIS-recognized sport that allows skiers to practice alpine skiing techniques on grass-covered slopes during spring, summer, and autumn. Invented in Germany in 1960 by Josef Kaiser, it evolved from a summer training method into a competitive discipline.

Based in Brno, Czech Republic, we handcraft every grass ski using premium materials—wood cores, aluminum reinforcement, and PA66 reinforced plastic elements. Our commitment to quality has earned the trust of athletes in over 25 countries worldwide.

Frequently Asked Questions

You need alpine ski boots (stiffer racing boots recommended), a safety helmet, gloves, and goggles. A back protector is strongly recommended. We suggest adding a ski bag to protect your car from grass and dust.

Standard alpine ski boots work best. We recommend stiffer boots that maintain durability in summer heat. Boots designed for snowboarding, telemark, or ski touring are NOT compatible due to different binding geometry.

Model Easy: Best for sport skiers, kite enthusiasts, and rental services. Most durable, quick-change bindings, no boot size limit.

Model Racer: For competitive racing. Faster, FIS-compliant, precision rollers. Maximum boot size 425mm.

Austria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Poland, and Japan have established grass ski centers. Any well-maintained grass slope with appropriate gradient works—check local parks, golf courses, or ski resorts for summer access.

EU shipping is FREE for ski orders. USA delivery takes 10-14 days at approximately €130 per pair. Contact us for volume shipping rates (20+ pairs). Most orders ship within 3-5 business days.
