We have been hard at work here at Grasski.net, making changes to our products to make them even better. We have invested both time and money into upgrades, and we are excited to see how they will impact the upcoming racing season.
One of the biggest changes we have made is the new laser welding machine we have invested in. This machine helps to improve the rail shape, as it reduces the heat transferred into the stainless steel during welding. This means that there is less warpage in the rails, which can impact the overall shape of the ski.
We have also invested in new tools for bending the rails, which have helped to improve the accuracy and consistency of the rail shape. Plus, we have brand new rails with a different shape altogether. All of these changes are designed to make our skis faster and more competitive on the race course.
In addition to the changes we have made to rails, we have also been working on improving the wood shape. We have flattened the bottom of the wood, which has helped to improve the top speed of our skis with only a minor impact on turning. We have also worked on the flex of the wood, to make it more consistent and predictable.
All of these many changes are designed to bring an exciting racing season, with two planned World Championships. The first will be for Juniors, taking place in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria, and the second will be the big one, taking place in Cortina, Italy at the very end of August and start of September.
We can't wait to see how our skis perform on the world stage, and we look forward to seeing you there!
